Although situated on a lovely lot with ample garden space, the original layout of this Federal home was disconnected from the landscape. We relocated the kitchen and added a tiered exterior patio to connect the first-floor public spaces with each other and the outdoors. On the second floor, we added two spacious full bathrooms without reducing the number of bedrooms.
